A Journey to the Arctic - Ship

"Even though our boat, the Sea King, a schooner of over 100 tons, was built for the treacherous waters of the Arctic, it was late in the year to be sailing so far north. We forced our way through heavy ice to the north of Southampton Island, where we found a tiny, uninhabited island with a snug harbor."
